Jay Roberts

CEO and Co-Founder

Jay Roberts is the chief executive officer of Domio. Prior to starting the Company, he worked in the global real estate investment banking group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York. At the bank he led the MGM Growth Properties $1.2 billion IPO, the largest real estate IPO of 2016.

Mr. Roberts’ team also led Paramount Group’s $2.6 billion IPO, the largest REIT IPO in U.S. history. He also executed transactions for Extended Stay, AvalonBay, Education Realty Trust, and CityCenter. While at the bank, he worked closely with Starwood Capital, TPG Real Estate, Diamond Resorts, Digital Realty and RLJ Lodging Trust.

Prior to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he worked at Training The Street where he taught investment banking analysts at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and Evercore financial modeling and Excel best practices.

Previously Mr. Roberts worked at Sperry Van Ness in Los Angeles on the number one multi-family team in California where he advised real estate private equity firms on acquisitions, dispositions, and lease-up strategies.

Mr. Roberts earned his MBA from NYU Stern, where he was awarded the Abraham & Julienne Krasnoff merit-based scholarship. He earned his B.A. in economics from UCSB.
