Karim Malak is deputy CEO of Aparthotels Adagio, the extended-stay brand of AccorHotels and Pierre & Vacances – Center Parcs. Adagio’s current network consists of 105 properties across 11 countries, via 3 ranges: Adagio, Adagio access and Adagio Premium.

Karim has been working in the hospitality industry for 17 years in various positions as an executive, a consultant or a service provider for leading European tourism companies. He joined Aparthotels Adagio in 2011 as Sales and Revenue Director before becoming deputy CEO in January 2016.

Karim’s ambition is to bring Aparthotels Adagio to the next level with the roll out of ‘Be My Guest’ brand transformation project. New guest experience and innovation are the keywords for this project that involves all aspects of the brand : design, offering and services for the guest, HR, technology, etc.

His other focus is developing the brand worldwide, with a target of 150 aparthotels by 2023. In Europe, Aparthotels Adagio aims to open 29 properties in the upcoming 2 years and is proud to announce the opening of its 4th location in the UK, the Adagio Leicester, by the end of 2019.

Karim graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
